On the way home from Tuscany, we stopped by a village that has transformed itself by painting murals on its walls.  It was really really cool, so beautiful and creative.

Another great trip was the one to Vietri Sul Mare, a cute town at the start of the Amalfi Coast– also covered in murals– known for its nice beach and its ceramics.  We shopped before everything closed for riposo (I almost always get to villages after they close for the afternoon– I still haven’t figured out how Italians get up so early and stay up so late).
