Jean and Elizabeth, Matt’s mom and sister, finally got here after a cancelled trip in early 2020.  They got here and we hit the ground running… quite literally, actually, since the route home from the airport detoured us a crazy way that showed them some true Naples driving.  Then we took them through more crazy traffic later that evening to Portici to see Matt’s band.  They were tired!

The first couple of days included the beach near our house, Pozzuoli for sunset on the port and pizza, and a ferry ride to Amalfi to see the Amalfi coast by boat, shop and eat lemon things. We also took a trip to downtown Naples (which was soooo much busier than it has been for a long time… albeit we did go on Sunday….).
