Turns out, Slovenia trails have been pretty dependably STRAIGHT UP the mountain.  These folks are way tougher than we are!  We went on what we had read was an Easy-Moderate hike, good for families… but it was brutal!  Amazing at the top and wildflowers at the bottom, so totally worth it…. but brutal!
