We went on our Leave vacation!  Goodbye hot Naples!  We took a road trip north to Slovenia, about a 10 hour drive.  We stopped for the first night in Bologna to break up the drive, then the next morning went through Trieste, Italy, on the way to Slovenia.  Trieste is at the very northeast corner of Italy, surrounded by Croatia and Slovenia.  It was very nice, and quite different from any other Italian city we have been to.
