Cedar’s Scouts troop created a Summer Camp for a week.  They camped at our local military park and took a lot of day trips– rafting, caves, rivers, snorkeling, etc.  Cedar had a BLAST.  Scouts is so awesome.  I got to help a lot, as well, teaching a merit badge, attending meetings, and I got to go rafting with them, too!

The weekend before camp, I decided to take Ashton on her own adventure.  We drove a few hours south to the mountains of Calabria to go on an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL rafting trip, stayed on a lake, ate tasty food, and went to a cave the next day.  We had a lot of fun chatting and hanging out together.  Matt and Cedar went out for burgers and watched a violent man-flick!

Then, for one magical night, Ash was gone, Matt was out of town, and Cedar was at camp.  I was ALL ALONE!  Unfortunately I staying up way too late and was exhausted the next day!!!
