The Band spouses had a date at a winery on Mount Vesuvius, which included a tour and tasting with lunch.  These grape vines are still young, as the vineyard recently acquired new land. It is interesting to see how the plants flourish in the black, volcanic rock-soil.  It was also fun to relax, talk, eat and sip wine– in a beautiful setting with Vesuvius on one side and the sea on the other– with other humans that aren’t my family!
