My Dad and I discovered Vomero on Sunday morning when he visited two years ago. Matt and I finally went back to enjoy the passegiata on the tree-lined street, with musicians, families, couples, and old and young enjoying being out together. Men, women, couples and families walk arm-in-arm, sit at benches, and leisurely stroll. The cafes are full, the smiles abound, and the feeling is just…. so PLEASANT. I am amazed at how Italians enjoy life. This Sunday morning stroll can be found in towns all over Italy, and not just on Sundays, either. This is what I will treasure, miss, and remember.
