In addition to hiking, I’ve been walking on the beach lately as well during this lockdown.  We live 5 minutes away and now that the lidos (beach resorts) are closed and the weather is cold, the shore in blessedly empty.  Addie loves it, and so do I.  Again, I am learning about the joy of being fully in the place I inhabit, and also the joy of living so near to the sea.  The sky, the sunset, the waves, the colors…. they are truly magical and rejuvenating.
