Matt really wants to learn to cook Italian food, so for the final day of his holiday leave, we booked a class. We asked Titti, a Neopolitan woman who teaches cooking and language classes to many people in our Navy community, to come to our home and give a cooking lesson to us and our friends. We made ravioli, meatballs, eggplant rolls, and limoncello tiramisu. It was really neat to learn about things we wouldn’t learn from the internet or a cookbook, like the ins and outs of olive oil and tomato sauce, or that garlic doesn’t go in sauce that will be used with red meat. Matt is very excited for another class!
