We visited Montepulciano, a town known for its wine, ate tasty food and found a really nice Christmas market. We left before it got busy, and found that visiting the markets after Christmas means it is a lot less crazy.
After two nights in the farmhouse in Cortona, we packed up and headed to Perugia, a city known for its chocolate (also the university and music). On the way, we visited a lake. Our Airbnb in Perugia was fantastic, with lots of room for Cedar and Addie to run and play.
Perugia was FREEZING, but we found a little Christmas market, a chocolate shop, and Matt’s dream of a huge doughnut cut in half and filled with pistachio cream.
When we returned to Naples, Ashton and Jess went to the top of the Navy base parking garage to watch the fireworks in Naples. Insane!
