December has been filled with a LOT of activities, including….

Our base tree lighting, where we had fun with our Band friends and visited more friends afterward for hot chocolate and laughter.

Ashton worked for a week straight on this lovely Birthday gift: a fireplace to cover my laptop for when I watch my favorite show (the fireplace show)!

The kids and I went for a hike and to a Christmas market in the medieval village of Casertavecchia, followed by pizza.

Jessica got a part-time job as a substitute teacher at the DOD school on base, Cedar advanced in rank at Boy Scouts, Matt bought a car, and Ashton made a lot of amazing treats via Outschool classes (I guess I only photographed the peppermint cake).

We went to the Monterusciello market and pizza with Band friends, went to a Band potluck, babysat Band kids, went to a Band holiday dinner, had our Band friend Marcello over, and attended the Band Christmas concert.

Ashton made a LOT of crafts (I guess I only photographed her homemade elves).  We visited several Italian Christmas markets, including a visit with our Italian friends and several pizza stops.
