A field trip to a lovely Neopolitan park (Capodimonte), dinner and board game friends, a Boy Scouts accomplishment for Cedar, a bowling date, Halloween, and Addie’s 7th birthday.  For Halloween, first we had our Italian friends come over for the base trunk-or-treat festival along with a dinner of spooky Halloween-themed foods.  Then on the actual Halloween day, I made a party with all of our Band community and our Italian friends, too.  It was super fun: the kids trick-or-treated with their friends (also from the Band community) while the adults mingled, ate, and passed out candy to the throngs of trick-or-treaters.  I am so happy it was such a great gathering, and looking forward to doing it again next year.
