On our last day in Malta, we headed to the city of Valetta for a self-guided food tour. We walked through the lovely streets of this walled city, marveled at the views, and enjoyed some Maltese cuisine. Afterward, the kids and I packed up and headed to the airport for our one hour flight back to Naples.
On this trip, I loved the slow, chillaxed-island feel of Malta, the friendly and welcoming Maltese people, the international tourists on holiday, the Middle-Eastern feel and accent, and the English spoken everywhere. I loved the rocky, sparse, flower-filled landscape, and the rugged cliffs on the sea. I loved that there was water so close all the time. I loved the food I got to try, the warm spring sunshine, and having success with learning to drive there. I had such a relaxed, fun time exploring this place, and I realized how much I am loving travelling!!
