Finally, for the last few days of our Sicily trip, we visited Trapani. We explored the salt pans, drove up a mountain to a town called Erice, where we hung out IN the clouds, visited a castle, and walked the foggy streets of a medieval village. The kids got thick hot chocolate and Matt enjoyed a giant cannoli. In Trapani we also enjoyed tasty food at a really welcoming restaurant, donuts at a local Christmas market, and a beautiful beach near Corfano Nature Reserve. We headed home for a 9-10 hour drive back to Naples, where Matt ended up at the emergency room for a terrible cold and pink-eye (so, not all of the trip was perfect!).

Wow! It looks so beautiful and interesting. By the time we get over there you’ll know all the cool places for us to visit.
I can’t really imagine actually being there, so then I know I am not getting the most out of the pictures even though the pictures are amazing!
