We visited Castello di Limatola, a local castle that lights up during the holidays. We toured the beautiful castle, saw musicians wandering through the pathways, looked at booths of handmade trinkets, ate tasty treats and sipped mulled wine. It was a delightful evening.
Later, we ventured south to the city of Salerno, which we heard has a fantastic lights display during the holidays. We were there a bit early in the season, so we did not experience the Christmas market, but also got to experience the town without the massive crowds. We wandered through town, got Ashton a street-food calzone, and treated Cedar to his first taste of Indian food (he loved it).
