We’ve had some connection and fun in and near our home lately::

:: Cedar and I went for a walk along farm roads near the base, enjoying the colors of fall.

:: Matt and Jess had a date

:: more slime and sleepovers

:: Matt and Ashton, inspired by netflix baking shows, had the Great Jones Bake-off, where they each made a gourmet cookie.  We voted on the winner!

:: the kids have been dog-walking and baby-sitting for money!

:: Cedar is still in Judo, we saw Matt’s Wind Ensemble performance, and Jess and Ashton did a painting class

:: our Italian friends took us to eat “real” Neopolitan pizza.  After our feast, we joined them at their home for dessert and board games.

:: we bought a tiny fake Christmas tree and the kids had fun decorating it.  We don’t typically decorate the tree until December, but it seems like this year we are craving that homey, family, Christmas feeling.
