I loved the cool climate of Paris; it reminded me of Kalispell at this time of year with its warm sun, cool air, and changing trees. I spent time outside our hotel soaking up Autumn, which I really appreciated. Then we did another thing: we went to Disneyland Paris. It was super crowded, as I had not known that the French and British have “holiday” during that week. Everyone said it would be the slow season…. and they were wrong! So the kids and I learned how to use Fast Passes, to ride at night, and to take breaks when we needed them. We weren’t completely sold on the magic of Disneyland, maybe because this park is different from the others (smaller and not as magical). But we did some awesome rides, watched a cool light show, learned more about French and British culture, rested in our hotel, and learned how to enjoy one another even while tired. On our last day we rested, then visited a shopping village where we shopped and ate tasty food.
I am glad we went to Paris, and soon I really want to return to France to explore the French countryside and its little villages.
