During our weekend in Sorrento, we hiked around on the tip of the Sorrentine Peninsula. First we headed out of a small town called Nerano along the trail to Baia di Ieranto, a gorgeous bay with a small beach and turquoise water. The beach had very few people for this time of year (and mostly Germans!), and the cool water boasted a plethora of jellyfish. Jess was the only one to get a minor sting, but maybe we should swim in this bay when the water is warmer next time. The hike was hot and harder than we expected, also because we took a detour along the way to check out the ruin called Torre (tower) di Montalto. What an epic day!
