I made a field trip for our homeschool group… and it was a huge success!  Kids and parents joined with Kitsap Beach Naturalist volunteers (most of whom were older, grandparenty types, which was wonderful) for a morning of exploring all the critters and plants left exposed when the tide went out.  It was amazing to see the excited, engaged kids running around learning, finding, asking, digging, thinking, and being amazed by the wonders they saw.  I’m proud of my contribution and hope to generate more trips in the future for our kiddos.
