We finally made it to the city!  The kids’ grandpa came to town and he got us out of our cozy woods and into a Seattle adventure!  We enjoyed the novelty of the ferry, toured the Space Needle, ventured onto the monorail, ate fresh cheese cuisine, toured interesting shops and found lovely souvenirs, wandered through the awesomeness that is the Pike Place Market, and discovered the bounty of things we can check out in Seattle– a place so alive, creative and busy.  We saw so much diversity all around us– people of all different kinds weaving among one another in the buzz and life that is the city.  We have a list of things to check out there next time… because now that we’ve had a taste of Seattle, I am sure we will be back there soon.
