I knew you wanted to see chickens being butchered on your computer screen today!  I didn’t know having a chicken-butchering party was a real thing until we were invited to one by our Navy Band/homeschool friends.  They are Tennessee homesteaders and don’t let a thing like a 3-year Navy tour stop them one bit.   It’s inspiring to see others living the life they choose, wherever they are, even in the military.  They had us over to help butcher those chickens, and then we joined them once again to help with the pig.  It’s been a learning experience and a fun one for all.
