2013 came and went in a whirlwind of moving back to Florida, waiting for Matt to come home and then getting him back, visits from Grandmas, and lots of family togetherness.  I see that these are the times when I took photos– the times of being outside, having fun, and being together– and there are a lot of in-between spaces– the times of fights, sicknesses, surgeries, rainy days, sibling rivalry, stress, and lots of work on the ship and trips out to sea for Matt– not shown.  So, although “all the things we are” isn’t really very fairly represented here, these are some of our blessings and wonders from this year, and for that I am grateful.  2014 will bring many new changes, including a much awaited new job for Matt, saying good-bye to our community and life here in Jacksonville, Florida, and a new start somewhere currently unknown.  We will need courage and creativity as we continue forward, and we are hopeful for an even more fulfilling year ahead.
