I know this is quite a random assortment of photos, but the photos tell the story of the kind of experience it is to be at the home of our good friends Alan and Sarah– eclectic, beautiful, interesting, unique, full, engaging, relaxed. That’s the kind of people they are, too, and I am grateful to be able to call them friends. We haven’t seen enough of them since we’ve been here– just a few times, maybe– but I think that’s changing now. We had a sleepover at their house last week, they took me out for a birthday dinner last night, we saw them again today and have more dates scheduled in December. Matt and I have always wanted to spend more time with these two, and since I’ve finally woken up to the fact that they like us as much as we like them, I’m happy the kids and I get this opportunity. I’m really thankful and looking forward to more.
