She drew everything she wanted for a week prior, talked about it almost constantly, sang and bounced around more and more each day, and finally she had her birthday. We spent a quiet day as a family doing special things for her, like decorating, talking about how she’s grown, watching movies, eating pizza, making her banana-chocolate-cake-with-cherry-cream-cheese-frosting recipe, and, of course, opening presents. I hope she liked it, I think she did. And now my little girl is 7.

I love her drawings! It sounds like a good day! Pizza, movies and cake – perfect. How do they grow up so fast?
happy bday A!!!!
Adore that b&w.
Sounds like the perfect birthday for your 7-year-old.
My girl turns seven in June. Make them stop.
She’s such a big girl, and I love that wall covered in her artwork! I’m so happy her daddy got to be there for her birthday too 🙂
