This post is another one about the current awesomeness of Ashton, who seems to be growing not only older and taller, but also more and more capable of learning, understanding, and practicing a variety of new skills. Sewing included. She made her own little quilt, much like the one we made before, only this time she did it almost completely by herself. I tried to take over a time or two, and she gently guided me aside so that she could do it… and she did.

Love this series. And congrats to Ashton on creating such a beautiful quilt!
That is so cool!
it’s so P-R-E-T-T-Y!!!!!
oh, sorry. forgot to put my name on it.
this is so wonderful that you did this with her J. I need to pull out my sewing machine too and let M sew. She always asks. We could do a simple quilt like this in an afternoon!
Wow, nice job.
This is so so great. It makes me want to go out and buy a sewing machine so I do this with Evie. And I’ve never sewn a thing in my life. 🙂
This is so sweet. Such a great mom and daughter moment here. I wonder if Max would do this if I had a sewing machine?… 😉
