The kids each picked out fabric for some new mama-made cotton pants (I did hem up Cedar’s a bit– he’s just growing so quickly that I figured I’d make them longer).  This kind of pant is so simple and fast to make, and the picking out of the fabric so very exciting for the kids, that I really enjoy the times I get to make them.  Now Matt wants some too!

And in their new pants they spent an afternoon making popcorn balls with Matt.  He’s all about food when he’s home, so our vacation-at-home with him involved LOTS of desserts.
